Youth Pottery Class: Ages 8–16 Sundays, 5–6pm | 6-Week Session November 9th - December 14th from 5:00pm - 6:00pm Ready to spin some mud into magic? This fun, hands-on pottery class is designed for youth ages 8–16 who are eager to explore the world of clay! Students will spend time both on the pottery wheel and using handbuilding techniques, gaining experience in centering, shaping basic forms, trimming, and glazing. With a focus on process, creativity, and individual expression, this class encourages exploration while building foundational pottery skills. Young artists will have the opportunity to create functional and decorative pieces while developing confidence and technique. What to Bring: An apron or small towel Clothes that can get a little messy A sense of curiosity and a willingness to try! What’s Included: All materials: clay, glazes, and kiln firings Instruction in wheel throwing, handbuilding, and glazing techniques A creative, supportive learning environment Important Notes: No prior experience is needed A signed waiver is required for all participants Please plan for timely drop-off and pick-up This is a process-based class focused on skill-building and creative growth
