Service Description
In Surface Decoration Techniques we will cover a multitude of techniques geared toward exposure ad experimentation, adding richness to the clay surface. From wet clay to cold finishes, the capabilities of design and decoration for the clay form will be covered in depth. Through a combination of demonstration, observation, discussion, and hands-on practice journey with us to take the next step in your clay work. With a focus on exploring surface decoration techniques, class activities are tailored to help students achieve their individual pottery-making goals, from mastering form creation to refining finished pieces.
Tuition covers all essentials, including clay, glaze, firings, and access to studio tools, ensuring a seamless and enriching learning experience. Over the course of six 2-hour sessions, with an optional open studio hour each week from 12pm - 1pm following class hours, starting in week 2, students delve into advanced beginner and intermediate level techniques, guided by experienced instructors dedicated to nurturing their progress. Classes are for adults 18 years old and older.

Due to the limited class size and high demand cancellations and rescheduling must be completed five days in advance to be eligible for a refund.
