Hands On: Slips and Stains! Date: 3 Fridays, September 4th, 11th, and 18th from 10am - 12pm Price: $175 (price includes materials, tools, firing fees, and instruction) Duration: 3, 2 hour class sessions Instructor: Jenna Wiles Location: Washington Street Studios Pottery School Hands On: Slips and Stains is a three-week exploration of making and using slips and stains. Through demonstrations and hands-on learning, students will learn to mix their own materials and experiment with a variety of techniques for applying the materials to clay projects. The class emphasizes process, creativity, and skill-building, with time to practice and develop individual pieces. In the final session, students will glaze and finish their work. You’ll also leave with leftover materials made and the knowledge to continue the process at home using simple, accessible methods. Open to all skill levels.
