Hands On: Colored Clays! Dates: 3 Fridays, July 17th, 24th, and 31st from 10am - 12pm Price: $175 (price includes materials, tools, firing fees, and instruction) Duration: 3, 2 hour class sessions Instructor: Jenna Wiles Location: Washington Street Studios Pottery School Hands On: Colored Clays is a three-week exploration of adding color directly into clay bodies. Through demonstrations and hands-on learning, students will mix and tint their own clays using mason stains and experiment with a variety of techniques for incorporating color into their work. The class emphasizes process, creativity, and skill-building, with time to practice and develop individual pieces. In the final session, students will glaze and finish their work. You’ll also leave with leftover colored clay and the knowledge to continue the process at home using simple, accessible methods. Open to all skill levels.
