Washington Street Studios recently built a gas fired Soda Kiln with a stoking port to add  small quantities of wood. In this ebook we will walk through the kiln design and construction explaining how we implemented the various features. We have over 100 photos and drawings to explain several design features such as the burner tunnels, a wood stoking port, ports for adding soda, vertical dampers, independent chimney design and the sprung arch.
