Try the Wheel: A Beginner’s Night of Pottery Friday, July 25th | 6:00–8:30 PM Washington Street Studios Pottery School Instructor: Sheri Fiolek $100 per person – all materials, tools, instruction, and firing included Looking for a creative night out? Join us for "Try the Wheel", a hands-on pottery workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of throwing on the potter’s wheel. Guided by experienced instructor Sheri Fiolek, this 2.5-hour class is perfect for beginners who want to explore the art of wheel-thrown pottery in a relaxed and supportive environment. What to Expect: Hands-On Instruction: Learn how to center, shape, and form clay on the wheel. Create Your Own Pieces: Each participant will make 1–2 unique pieces, which we’ll trim, glaze in the color of your choice, and fire for you. Additional pieces can be finished and fired for an additional fee. Finished Work: Your pottery will be ready for pickup in approximately 4 weeks. We’ll email you with collection details. Additional Info: No Experience Needed: This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed for adults (ages 21+). All Supplies Included: Just bring your creativity—we provide everything else. BYOB/S: Feel free to bring your favorite beverages or snacks to enjoy during class or share with your group.
