Instructor: Paula Coupe
Paula Coupe began studying metalsmithing after she retired from the federal government in 2001. Among the courses she took at The Art League School was Precious Metal Clay with Barbro Eriksdotter Gendell. She continued with her metalsmithing, but always came back to PMC. She was certified to teach by J. Fred Woell and the Rio Rewards Program in 2003. Since then she has continued with her metalwork and teaches PMC Workshops in several locations in the DC area. She continues to learn new techniques from well-known PMC artists, such as Celie Fago, Chris Darway, Kelly Russell, and Barbro Eriksdotter Gendell.
